Chippewa Lake Community Church

Chippewa Lake Community Church moved into a new building in 2025 at 10490 Lake Street, serving the Chippewa Lake area under the leadership of Pastor Roger and Donna Bennett. The church operates around the motto "Helping to Connect God's People with God's Purpose," offering two Sunday morning services along with nursery and Jr Church programming for kids at the later service. Beyond Sunday worship, the congregation runs a full slate of community events throughout the year, including an annual yard sale, a Men's Fellowship Breakfast, and a Bucks, Ducks, and Fish Auction and Raffle that draws people well beyond the regular congregation. The church also hosts a Women's Retreat, motorcycle rides, and a live nativity display around the holidays, giving members several ways to connect outside the sanctuary. A rotating team of deacons and deaconesses, including Tim and Cheryl Nellis, Mark Coccia, Lee Stearns, and Evelyn Gabbert, supports the church's ministry alongside Jr Church and nursery director Laura Weller. Sermons are posted online for members who can't attend in person, and the church maintains an active events calendar covering everything from Bible study gatherings to fundraising auctions.
