The Remote Area Medical clinic will be held on the campus of Ferris State University, Saturday and Sunday, May 30th and 31st, 2026. All services are free to anyone wishing to attend. There are no income, residency, or identification requirements to participate. Everyone is welcome! Available free services include:
- Dental: fillings, cleanings, extractions, and x-rays
- Vision: vision exams, glasses created onsite (bifocals may be mailed within a week if unable to create onsite)
- Medical: general medical exams, sports physicals, women’s health exams
- Laboratory: A1c testing, complete metabolic panels, cholesterol testing
- Mammograms: Saturday only
The parking lot opens on Friday evening, with clinic doors opening at 6 AM on Saturday and Sunday. All services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Community organizations are welcome to share their resources at the event – reach out at the web address or email provided to reserve a table (no cost).
