As part of the 2026 Festival of the Arts, local movie historian Barbara Pillsbury presents a Valentine’s Day bonus feature in her popular Matinees with Barbara film series at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Big Rapids.

This special screening features the 1942 classic Random Harvest, starring Ronald Colman, Greer Garson, and Philip Dorn. The film tells the story of a World War I veteran suffering from amnesia who falls in love after escaping a hospital in England, only to later lose his post-war memories in a second accident. This moving and timeless romance offers an unforgettable afternoon of cinematic storytelling perfect for the season of love.
