The Newaygo County Agricultural Fair runs August 8–15, 2026, at the Newaygo County Fairgrounds, 815 S Stewart Ave in Fremont, roughly 40 miles southwest of Big Rapids off the US-131/M-82 corridor. Gates open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Grandstand action anchors each evening: a Demo Derby opens fair week Saturday, August 8, followed by the Full Throttle Dirt Rodeo featuring landscape companies competing head to head on Sunday. The week continues with a second Demo Derby Monday, a Ranch Rodeo Tuesday, and a Tractor Pull Wednesday. Thursday pairs the Livestock Auction with evening Horse Pulls, and Friday brings the free Inanimate Auction at midday ahead of another Tractor Pull that night. SJO Motorcross closes out the fair on Saturday, August 15.

Beyond the grandstand, the fair showcases 4-H and youth exhibits across beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, rabbits and cavies, dog competitions, and youth horse divisions, reflecting the Newaygo County Agricultural Fair Association's mission to promote the area's agriculture and youth. Families traveling from Mecosta County often make a day of it, pairing fairgrounds exhibits with the grandstand's evening lineup.
