The Mecosta-Osceola Career Center (MOCC) turns 50 this year, and it's opening its doors to celebrate. Join the open house on Tuesday, October 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. to see what career and technical education looks like in Mecosta and Osceola Counties today.

Walk through the programs MOCC offers, watch live demonstrations, and talk one-on-one with the instructors who teach them. You'll also learn how students can earn college and academic credit while they're still in high school, and get a close look at the technology and equipment they train on.

It's a good fit for students weighing their next steps, parents, alumni marking the milestone, and anyone curious about the hands-on training happening right here in Big Rapids. MOCC is operated by the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District (MOISD) and serves students across both counties.
