Join Corewell Health, in collaboration with Ferris State University’s Hospitality Program, for an engaging session focused on understanding and applying nutrition label information in everyday life.

Registered Dietitian Bailey Gager from Corewell Health will guide participants through the essentials of reading and interpreting nutrition labels, including their layout, purpose, and how to recognize misleading packaging claims. Attendees will learn practical strategies for comparing products and using label information to support personal health goals.

After the nutrition presentation, participants will take their knowledge to the kitchen with Kathryn Wolfer, Associate Professor at Ferris State University, who will lead a hands-on cooking experience. Guests will prepare and sample a variety of delicious, health-conscious recipes while building useful culinary skills.
