Knitters Anonymous invites knitters, crocheters, and needle artists of all skill levels to gather for creativity, fellowship, and learning in a relaxed and welcoming environment. This ongoing group celebrates the art of handcrafting while providing space for conversation, skill-building, and community connection.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials, including yarn and needles, and to attend whether or not the weekly topic matches their current interests. Each session also features a swap and giveaway table, along with tea, cookies, and door prizes, making it a cozy and social experience for all who attend.

In support of the community, attendees are asked to bring a donation for Project Starburst at each session. Donations may include non-perishable food items or handmade hats, mittens, or scarves for the pantry.

February session topics include:

• February 3: It’s All About Gauge – understanding gauge, how to measure it properly, and how to adjust when you want to modify a pattern

• February 10: Increases and Decreases – exploring techniques, stitch direction, and favorite methods

• February 17: Knitting Lingo and Types of Yarn – decoding abbreviations, terminology, and yarn weights

• February 24: Knitting First Aid – troubleshooting common mistakes like dropped or added stitches
