🚗 10:00 AM – Parade Line-Up on S. Franklin Street
Get ready for a classic small-town parade! All are welcome to join—decorate your float, bike, tractor, or just bring your crew to walk along. It’s a great way to show your patriotic spirit in Mecosta.

🎉 11:00 AM – Mecosta Fourth of July Parade
The parade kicks off from S. Franklin Street and travels to S. Cass Street on M-20 (East Main Street). Expect everything from festive floats and fire trucks to local businesses, community groups, and vintage cars.

🚧 1:30 PM – Road Closure
Main Street (M-20) will be closed from James Street to Webber Street for event activities. Roads will reopen at 6:30 PM.

🚙 2:00 PM–6:00 PM – Classic Car Show on Main Street
Don't miss the Mecosta Car Show, featuring classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors. There’s a $15 entry fee and 8 trophy categories up for grabs. A must-see for motorheads and curious cruisers alike.

🎯 Ongoing – Scavenger Hunt + Dunk Tank Fundraiser
Bring the kids for a downtown scavenger hunt and take part in the Dunk Tank Fireworks Fundraiser near the Village Office, hosted by the Village Council and VFW Post 2335. Come dunk local leaders, including the Mecosta Village President and Township officials, to raise money for fireworks.

🍔 Local Eats and Food Trucks
Grab a bite from fan favorites like Fatbelly and You Chill, or enjoy local flavors from Woody’s, Coffee and Cream, and Fates Express Mecosta.

🎶 6:30 PM–8:30 PM – Music on the River at Bromley Park
Join us at Bromley Park for an outdoor concert featuring Jake Slater, an Elvis tribute artist. It’s the perfect way to kick off Mecosta’s summer music series.

🎆 Dusk – Fourth of July Fireworks in Mecosta
Stick around after the concert for a breathtaking fireworks show by Night Magic Displays. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show over the river.
