Join the celebration in downtown Big Rapids, Michigan as Ferris State University honors its 2025 NCAA Division II National Championship football team with a community parade and celebration.
The Ferris State National Championship Parade and Celebration brings together students, alumni, fans, and the entire Bulldog community for a day of pride and excitement. The team capped off a historic 16-0 season with a 42-21 victory over Harding, securing their fourth national title in five years.
The parade will begin at the Big Rapids Public Library and travel along Michigan Avenue to City Hall, featuring members of the championship team, Ferris State student-athletes, local organizations, and community first responders. It is a great opportunity to gather, cheer, and show support for one of the most successful programs in college football.
Following the parade, a recognition and proclamation ceremony will take place near Horizon Bank in downtown Big Rapids. Speakers are expected to include Ferris State President Bill Pink, Athletic Director Steve Brockelbank, and Big Rapids Mayor Fred Guenther.
After the ceremony, fans can continue the celebration with opportunities to meet players, take photos, and see the national championship trophy up close.
