Celebrate global flavors and creative cooking at a special culinary showcase dedicated to the versatility of beans, an ingredient enjoyed in cuisines around the world. This engaging food-focused event invites guests to discover how the humble bean can be transformed into tasty, fun, and nutritious dishes through innovative techniques and thoughtful preparation.

Led by Chef Dylan Perkins and his culinary team from the Whirlpool Dunrovin Conference Center, the showcase offers an interactive journey through bean-based recipes inspired by international traditions. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious bean-forward snacks while learning new and creative ways to incorporate this nutritious ingredient into everyday cooking.

Chef Dylan Perkins brings a wealth of experience to the table. Originally from Farmington Hills, Michigan, he began his culinary career at age 16 in Detroit-area restaurants. After studying biochemistry at the University of Michigan, he pursued his passion for food, earning his first Executive Chef role at Assaggi Bistro and later overseeing multiple restaurants with the Silver Pig Group, including Bellapiatti and Tallulah. In 2015, Perkins moved to New York City to lead the farm-to-table bistro Le Barricou, before returning to Michigan in 2018 as Executive Chef at the Dunrovin Conference Center with Whirlpool.
