The primary mission of Project Starburst is to provide a welcoming and caring atmosphere for our neighbors in Mecosta and Osceola County to receive food and basic needs in a dignified manner. When resources are available Project Starburst may also provide other supplemental services. In celebrating 50 years of service, Project Starburst is committed to partnering with human service agencies to address the needs of area residents. This past year, Project Starburst served over 300,000 meals in Mecosta and Osceola counties. When your neighbor visits Project Starburst, 50 meals per individual are provided, much more than an emergency supply.
