Davis Bridge Boat Launch

Davis Bridge Boat Launch Park sits on 20 acres along the Muskegon River at 22170 8 Mile Rd in Stanwood, with 500 feet of river frontage and access to 18 miles of navigable water on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. The concrete boat ramp and launch dock make it a straightforward put-in for boaters heading out onto the river, and shore fishing is available right from the park for anyone who'd rather stay on land. A host camper is often on site to lend a hand if visitors need it, though the park itself doesn't offer camping. Picnic areas with charcoal grills sit near the water, making it an easy stop for a riverside lunch before or after time on the water. The park connects to Michigan's Dragon, the 45-mile nonmotorized trail system at Hardy Dam used for hiking, running, and mountain biking, so visitors can pair a day of boating or fishing with time on the trail. A Mecosta County Parks vehicle permit is required for use, available on site or through any county campground office. Pets are welcome throughout the park.
