Description

Coffee & Cream sits on M-20 in the Village of Mecosta, roughly midway between Big Rapids and Mt. Pleasant, making it a natural stop for travelers moving between the two. The family-owned shop serves espresso drinks alongside Moo-ville ice cream and a made-to-order food menu, all from a spot at 510 W Main St that recently added a renovated outdoor patio for summer seating.

The Cheese Steak Supreme, thin-cut steak with bacon, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, and melted swiss, is one of the shop's most talked-about sandwiches, and the Bacon Cheeseburger draws its own following on a signature brioche bun. On the ice cream side, Honey Lavender, a Moo-ville flavor with a honey swirl, is a regular favorite alongside the shop's espresso-based drinks like the Marco's Espresso Bomb.

Regulars come back for the combination rarely found together in a small village stop: real espresso, scratch-made ice cream, and diner food, all served on a patio built for lingering. Coffee & Cream also hosts recurring summer events on-site, giving Mecosta a gathering point that fits into the broader run of small-town stops along the Dragon Trail corridor. The shop operates seasonally, opening in spring and running through Labor Day weekend, which fits the rhythm of Mecosta County's warm-weather visitor traffic.
