This is the 5th installment of monthly offerings for issues specifically affecting highly empathic people. Attendees are those who identify as Empaths, or feel they are highly empathic/sensitive individuals. Please note that there is no requirement to attend all sessions- they are stand alone workshops, offered once monthly throughout 2018. Although, those who have been attending regularly are finding that they cumulatively build their knowledge & awareness, or make connections based what we have covered before.
This fifth workshop will offer greater awareness & tools to create- and maintain- healthier boundaries for the Empath. This is an issue that the vast majority of us have, and will struggle with! We’ll explore how to avoid disaster, and to be happier & healthier in our interactions, relationships and work. We’ll discover how to maintain a stronger sense of Self, how to say no without guilting ourselves, how to set better limits/deal with conflict, and how to recognize and handle work & relationship burnout.
*Attendees should bring a notebook, and pen or pencil. The “fee” for each of these seminars is a suggested $20 cash donation per person. These funds help compensate the presenter for her time and preparation, travel; and to help defray costs for Red Fox, who so generously allow us to use the space.
Presenter & creator Ashley Rae is an Empath, intuitive energyworker/counselor, and educator. She has over 20 years combined experience in massage, yoga, psychology, art, and natural health. She provides wellness-based services, tools, and inspiring workshops, for greater self awareness, emotional peace, and physical & spiritual health and healing. She is currently working on her first book about her experiences as an Empath. Ashley Rae holds a master’s degree in professional counseling, a bachelor of arts degree in visual arts & psychology, and certificates in therapeutic bodywork, Hatha yoga instruction, and Reiki. She is an alumna of Central Michigan University and the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies & Education.
